James Henry (Jim) Murphy

Retired Lt. Col, Irish Army. On his retirement from the defence forces, Jim was actively involved in the Racing Academy and Centre of Education, Kildare  (R.A.C.E.)

Father of the late Conor. 
Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. 
Sadly missed by his loving wife Maud, children Harry, Roísín and Peter, grandchildren Oisín, Meadhbh, Alex, Ross, Ciara, Clodagh, Jay, Harry and Kitty, great grandchildren Fiadh, Ruadh and Anna, daughters in law Helene, Celine and Alice, son in law David,  brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Prevailing government COVID 19 guidelines regarding attendance at Jim's funeral will apply. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to leave a message in the condolence page below.

Reposing at  McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 5pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 7 o'clock. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Parish Church, Kildare Town, for Requiem Mass at 10-30am.

Mass will be live streamed on mcnmedia.tv..
