The death has occurred of
James J. Crowley
On May 3rd 2023, peacefully in his 87th year at Bantry General Hospital, James J. “JJ”, beloved husband of the late Anna (née O’Sullivan), loving father of John, Margaret (Lavin), Julie (O’Mahony), James and Christy, dear brother of Michael, John, Jerry, Joe and the late Sr. Julie. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Cathal and Carl, daughters-in-law, Bernie, Mary and Ciara, grandchildren Rachel, James and John, John, James and Charlie, Ralph, Hugh and George, Conor and Brian, Owen, Anna, Jimmy and Millie, nephews, nieces, his dear friend Peggy, relatives and a large circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing in Coakleys Funeral Home on Wednesday May 3rd from 6pm to 7.30pm. Reposing on Thursday May 4th from 6pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday May 5th at 12 noon in St Finbarrs Church, Bantry (livestreamed on bantryparish.ie) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Bantry Hospice Project, Newtown, Bantry.
