The death has occurred of
JAMES (JAMESEY) O'CONNOR
O’CONNOR (Michael Fitzgerald Road, Togher and formerly of Farranree): On November 19, 2025, peacefully, in the tender and loving care of all the staff at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, JAMES (JAMESEY) (former Chairman of Ballyphehane Boxing Club). Beloved husband of Sheila (née Coleman), loving father of Jim, Mandy, Aidan, Deborah, Lorna and the late Leslie and dear brother of Betty. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Sunday (November 23) from 5pm to 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Monday (November 24) at 11am in Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane which will be live streamed HERE
Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
