The death has occurred of
James (Jamesie) Magner
Magner (Castletownroche) passed away peacefully on December 12th 2023, aged 93 years, in the presence of his loving family at his home, Ballinaraha, Castletownroche, Co. Cork. James (Jamesie) beloved husband of the late Geraldine, much loved father of Pat, Seamus, Maeve, Finian, Geraldine and the recently deceased Sindy, adored Grandad of Bronagh, Darragh, James, Niamh, Grainne, Max, Killian, Fionn, Jamie, Owen, Caoimhe, Cinque and the late Cliona, proud Great-Grandad to Ayda, dear brother of Nora (Creavy) and the late Maureen and Debbie. Jamesie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons and daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sister, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Maureen and Monica, son-in-law Kieran, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, wonderful carers, kind neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his home Ballinaraha, Castletownroche, Eircode P51TW72 on Friday, December 15th 2023, from 3pm to 7pm. On Friday there will be a one-way traffic system in place, approach Jamesies house from the closed down TOP fuel station P51T1DD on the Mallow side. Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castletownroche, Co. Cork on Saturday, December 16th 2023, at 12.15pm for 12.30pm Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Monanimy Cemetery, Killavullen. Family flowers only. Those wishing to leave a message of condolence for Jamesie’s family can do so below.
