James (Jim) Allen

ALLEN (Glasheen & formerly of Cathedral Road, Cork): On December 24th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Cork University Hospital, JAMES (Jim),(ex. UCC), dearly beloved husband of Nell (née Hurley), loving father of Miriam (O’Donovan) and Karen (Kelleher), adored grandad of Seán, Rόisín, Cian, Aisling, Aoife and Sarah, much loved father-in-law to John and dear brother of Phil, Noel and the late Michael and Patsy.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Saturday (December 27th) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

 

 

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Monday (December 29th) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough which can be viewed
