James (Jim) Battelle

BATTELLE, James (Jim), Rathfarnham Dublin 14 – 23rd August 2025 (peacefully in his 91st year) at Tallaght University Hospital surrounded by his family after a short illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Pauline and much-loved father of Brian, Paul, Mark and Emer. Predeceased by his siblings Canon Paddy and Laurie. He will be very sadly missed by his family, sister Eileen, daughters-in law Christine, Sanna and Ide, son-in-law David, his treasured grandchildren Seamus, Grainne, Charles, Harry, Darragh, Emilie, Hugh, Tim, Louis, Elissia, Eve and Aisling, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham Wednesday 27th August 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass Thursday 28th August in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham at 12 noon followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.
