James (Jim) Connell

The death has occurred of James Connell peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Naas General Hospital surrounded by his beloved family, late of Loraine, Fontstown, Athy, Co. Kildare. Predeceased by his wife Colette, brother Dan, sisters Kathleen (McDonald), Anne (Brophy), Agnes (McDonald) and daughter Theresa. Very deeply regretted by his sons Tom, John and Jim, daughters Mary, Liz (Daly) and Therese (Quinlan). Daughter-in-law Martina, sons-in-law Paul and James. Grandchildren Peter, Emma, Bríd, Úna and James. By his sisters Margaret (Boland), Lizzie (Wall), Mary (Connolly), brother-in-law Jimmy (Rice), sister-in-law Ita (Daly), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

James will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins (R14 NX80) on Wednesday, 1st February, between 5pm and 7pm.  Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Ita’s Church, Kilmead, Athy for 11am Requiem Mass. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/kilmead. Interment afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
