James (Jim) Cronin

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Cronin, Distillery House, Marlfield, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Jim (in his 92nd year) passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital on Wednesday morning. He is pre-deceased by his wife Elsie. He will be sadly missed by his sons Jimmy and Ben, daughter Mary (Kelly), sister Joan (Donlan), grandchildren Sarah, Lizzy, Mary Clare, David, Jamie, Kate, William, Mags, Bryanie, Sally, Jordan and Michie, great-grandchildren Hazel, Andrew, Jessie, Ashlee, Teeghan, Cian, Elsie, Sean, Sadie, Aidan, Beauden, Alex, Nora, Cody, Theo and Winnie, son-in-law Brian, his good friend Lisha, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Thursday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Friday to St Mary’s Church, Irishtown. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.00pm. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the St Mary’s Parish livestream service https://www.churchservices.tv/clonmel. Burial will take place afterwards in Marlfield Cemetery, Clonmel. Family flowers only please. Donations in Jim’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
