James (Jim) DOUGLAS

James (Jim) Douglas of Bray, Co. Wicklow, died peacefully, in his 96th year, on Friday, 9th August, 2024, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Eileen for 69 years, loving father of Margaret, Aileen, Sarah, Rachel, Paul and the late James, an engaged and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of Niamh, Ailbhe, Lorcan, Eoghan, Leigh, Laura, Jack, Róisín, Maeve, Christopher, Clara, Louis and Sophie; sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Jennifer, sons-in-law Liam, Derek and Paul, sister Mary, brother-in-law William, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Thursday (Aug.15) at 10.30am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, followed by Committal Service in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please.
