The death has occurred of James (Jim) Farragher, Esker, Glenamaddy, Co. Galway and formerly of Curlisduane, Ballyglass, Claremorris, Co. Mayo - 3rd April 2022, (peacefully) at University Hospital, Galway surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Anthony and his son-in-law Gerry Brennan. Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen, children Jeannette (Brennan, Cloonfad), Paul (Esker), Linda (Clooncun West) and Mark (Caltra), brothers Joe, Pat, and Anthony, sisters Mary and Evelyn, grandchildren Caroline, Martina, Niall, Zara, Rhys, Glenn, Katie, Amy and Sophie, Linda’s partner Michael, daughters-in-law Mary and Ciara, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Glenamaddy Community Centre from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday evening (walk through only please). Funeral leaving the home of his daughter Jeannette on Wednesday morning at 11am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 midday. Burial afterward in Boyounagh Cemetery.

Family flowers only please by request. Donations if desired to the Galway Palliative Care c/o Gaynors Funeral Directors, Castlerea.
