The death has occurred of
James (Jim) Forde
FORDE (Mayfield and late of Graigue, Glenville, Co.Cork): On March 30th, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family after a short illness at the Cork University Hospital, JAMES (Jim) beloved husband of the late Mary (née O’Connell), loving father of Norma, Mairead, Declan, Paul and the late Nicholas, dear brother of the late Willie, Paddy, Nora and Nicholas.
Sadly missed by his loving family, their partners Reiland, Olivia and Lizzy, his adored grandchildren Ayisha, Cerys, James, David, Isabelle, Luke, Eoin, Naomi and Roisín, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; on Wednesday (April 1st) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Liturgy of the Word at 10.00am on Thursday (April 2nd) in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
