James (Jim) HARTE

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Harte, Mounttown, Geevagh, Co. Sligo, January 23rd 2024, peacefully, in the presence of his devoted son Gerard and in the tender care of the staff of University Hospital Sligo. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary T, brother Tommy, sisters Mollie, Nancy and Aileen, brother-in-law Joe Donagher. Jim will be deeply missed by his loving son Gerard, granddaughter Sineád, daughter-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, neighbours, cousins and his many friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, F52WT26, on Friday evening (January 26th) from 5pm until 7.30pm, followed by removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Geevagh, arriving 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11.30am. Interment immediately afterwards in Corrig Cemetery.
