The death has occurred of
James (Jim) Higgins
Jim passed away, peacefully, after a brief illness, in the exceptional care of staff at the Beacon Hospital in Dublin. Predeceased by his brother Ted and his sisters Gretta, Claire, Dinah and Maureen. Beloved husband to Josie (nee Copeland) and father to Paul, Bernard and Fiona. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family including daughter-in-law Máirín, his adoring and adored grandsons, Eoin, Ben, Oscar and Luke, his nieces, nephews and extended family. Will be hugely missed by his wide circle of friends, his golfing buddies and his wonderful neighbours.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home in Blessington (W91 YN79) on Tuesday, 11th July, from 5:00 pm with prayers at 7:00 pm. Jim’s Funeral Mass will take place at the St. Nicholas of Myra Church in Dunlavin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, 12th July, with burial afterwards in Dunlavin Cemetery.
