James (Jim) KEANE

James (Jim) Keane, Shronebeirne, Kilmorna, Duagh, Co. Kerry, passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Willow Brooke Care Centre, Castleisland, on Saturday, 14th February 2026, with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his parents Tim and Hannah, brothers Timmy and Patrick, sisters Peg, Moll, Noreen and Bridget (Biddy).

Jim is very sadly missed by his brother Sean, sister-in-law Una, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, all his other relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Monday, 16th February from 5.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Jim will be celebrated in St. Brigid’s Church Duagh on Tuesday, 17th February at 12.00 p.m.

Interment afterwards in Knockanure Cemetery.
