James (Jim) King

The death has occurred of James (Jim) King, Ardnacrohy, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick on the 12th February 2026. Jim passed away peacefully at St. Catherine’s Nursing Home, Newcastle West. Predeceased by his parents Denis and Mary, his brother Johnny, and sisters Ita (O’Connor) and Margaret (O’Connor). He is survived by his wife Margie, his sons, Denis and Richard, and daughter Marion. Deeply regretted by his grandchildren Seamus and Sharon, and his great grandson Ben. Daughters-in-law Carmel and Colette. Nephews and niece, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and other relatives.

Reposing at Riedy’s Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Sunday 15th February from 3 pm to 5 pm. A private funeral service will take place at Shannon Crematorium on Monday 16th February.
