The death has occurred of James (Jim) Lynam Hortland, Donadea, Co. Kildare, October 24th 2023, peacefully, at Connolly Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Mamie and adored dad of Imelda, Michael, Seamie, Josephine, Kit, Martin, Theresa, Jerry, Mandy and predeceased by his son Declan. Deeply regretted by his brothers, Christy, Johnny, Ned and Tom, sisters Mary, Martina, Brigid, Teresa, Nancy and Celie, daughters in law, sons in law, sisters in law, brothers in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends

May Jim Rest in Peace

Jim will reposing in Murty O'Neill and Sons Funeral Home, Johnstown Bridge (A83 CD39), on Thursday from 4pm with Rosary at 7.30pm and on Friday from 4pm to 6pm followed by removal to the Church of the Nativity Newtown (A83 YY49) for Reception prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 midday followed by burial afterwards in Hortland Cemetery (W91 X4 5Y). Family flowers only, please.
