James (Jim) Mackin

The death has occurred, in his 92nd year, of James (Jim) Mackin, Mosstown, Dunleer, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Jim, beloved husband of the late Brigid (née Caffrey) and loving father of James and David. Predeceased by his parents James and Molly, brothers Paddy and Nick and sister Eileen (Callan). Deeply regretted by his sons, daughter-in-law Ailbhe, his adored granddaughter Molly, sister Alice (Carolan), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Jim Rest in Peace

Jim will repose at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (A92 V38H) on Sunday from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday in Saint Kevin’s Church, Philipstown (A92 FP27) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Mosstown Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be left in the Condolence section below.
