James (Jim) Maher

The death has taken place of James (Jim) Maher, Jerpoint West, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny and formerly of Sugarstown, Thomastown Co Kilkenny and England. Peacefully in the care of the staff of St Columba's Hospital, Thomastown. 28th November 2025.

Predeceased by his wife Anna, his parents John and May, brothers John, Paddy and Bobby and grandson Kyle. Sadly missed by his sons Paul and Peter, grandchildren Jaegar, Lauren, Reis, Shauna and Jordan, great-grandchildren Jenson and Myla, daughters-in-law Debbie and Sharon, brothers Willie, Tim, Tony and Mick, Sister Maisie, Nieces and Nephews extended family and friends, Tidy Towns, Mens Shed and Golf.

MAY JIM REST IN PEACE

Reposing at the Mercy Side Chapel, Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, on Sunday 14th December from 5pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem mass on Monday 15th December at 11am in the main Chapel followed by burial in St Mary's New cemetery Thomastown Co Kilkenny.
