James (Jim) McCarthy

McCarthy (Leap): On March 18th, 2025 suddenly at home James (Jim), beloved son of the late Tim & Catherine (Kitty) McCarthy, Knockskeagh, Leap and loving brother of Mary (O'Leary), Jerry, Paddy, Tim, Michael, Margaret (O'Brien), Catherine (McCarthy), Denis, John, Ellen (O'Brien) and Danny. Deeply regretted by his heart-broken sisters and brothers, nephews, nieces, gran-nephews, gran-nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, kind neighbours and his many close and dear friends, especially Kevin Whooley.

Reposing in Shanahan's Funeral Home, Leap on Friday, 21st March from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 22nd March in St. Mary's Parish Church, Leap at 12 noon.
