James (Jim) McQuade

Jim, passed away peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Castle Garden Nursing Home on the 13th January, 2025. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Christine (Chrissie, née Morgan) on the 14th, January, 2012. He will be sadly missed by his sons Gary, Kenneth and Ian and daughter-in-law Sheelagh and their family members both here in Ireland and in Scotland, New Zealand and Austrailia. Jim led a happy, quiet and hard-working life with Chrissie whom he met when he was a young man on holiday. When they got married they worked in London and them moved back to Ireland where they set up their own successful business. Jim enjoyed his holidays and Poker nights and Chrissie and Jim were doting grandparents and liked to entertain the kids at their static caravan especially Jim who gave a good rendition of both Irish and Scottish songs.
