James (Jim) Nevin

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Nevin, Shankhill, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, age 91, on November 27th 2021, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and supported by the caring staff at Portiuncula Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Maureen, his brothers Paddy, Mick, Tom, John Joe and sisters Bridie and Mary.  

Deeply missed by his loving children James, John, Elaine, Martina, and Michael, his brother Bernie, his daughters in law Carmel, Andrea and Yvonne, his sons in law Derek and Brian, his grand-children Michelle, Claire, Aoibhínn, Saoirse, Caoimhe, Oisín, Eimear, Donnchadh and Éabha, his sisters in law Kathleen and Helena, his nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace. 

Reposing at Kilkerrin Community Centre (H53 K7F9) on Monday evening November 29th from 6.30pm with removal to St. Joseph’s Church Kilkerrin at 8pm.  All those attending are asked to please respect social distancing guidelines by wearing a mask and avoid hand shaking.

Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Josephs Church, Kilkerrin, on Tuesday, November 30th, at 11am with burial afterwards to the local cemetery.  Mass will be broadcast on local radio 106.6FM and streamed live on https://www.facebook.com/Coneran_Funeral_Directors_101882841644404
