James (Jim) O’Brien, late of Quinsborough Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on Monday, 30th March 2026, in the tender and loving care of the staff at Leopardstown Care Centre.
Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Eileen; his siblings, Pauraig, Viv, Nuala, Maree, Dermot, and his recently deceased brother Michael. Jim will be sadly missed by his sister Anne, his brothers Martin, Eamonn, Brendan and Kevin, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Jim will repose at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98 R673), on Thursday, 2nd April, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. A Liturgy of the Word Service will take place on Good Friday, 3rd April, at 10.00am in the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Little Bray.
