who died on Monday 9th February 2026,
Aged 85 Years.
Jim died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Predeceased by his parents James and Catherine, his sisters Peggy (Rafter) & Mary (Phelan), brothers Pat and Sonny and grandson Walter Murphy.
Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Myra (née Courtney), and forever cherished by his sons Jimmy and Ned, daughters Catherine (Murphy), Una (Kent), Peggy (O’Shea), Julieann (Cantwell) and Bríd (Duffy), daughters-in-law Denise and Mirjam, sons-in-law John (Murphy), Eamonn (Kent), Stephen (O'Shea), Alan (Cantwell) and John (Duffy), grandchildren Elaine, James, Michael, Rachel, Katie, Grace, James, Beth, Stephen, Ryan, Ben, Jim, Luke, Caleb, Chris, Annabelle, Ronan and Myra, great grandchildren D.J, Danny, Charlie and Ted, brother Ned, sister Kitty (Walsh), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family neighbours and his many friends.
MAY JIM REST IN PEACE
Jim will be reposing in Powers Funeral Home Ferrybank on Thursday, 12th February, from 4.30pm followed by removal at 7.30pm to St. Beacon's Church, Mullinavat, Jim's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday 13th February at 12noon, after which Jim will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
