O'Mahony (Castlelack, Bandon) on August 12th 2021 peacefully in the care of the Staff in Bandon Community Hospital after a short illness bourne with courage and dignity surrounded by his loving family. James (Jim), beloved husband and best friend of Mary (nee O'Donovan), and devoted father of Martin, Pat, Bernie (Walsh), Kay (Coomey), Claire (Barrett) and Fiona (Harrington), adored Grandfather of Adrian, Ryan, Lorna, Michelle, Keelin, Adam, Gerard, Orla, Jack, Ella, Ciara, Erin and Niamh, great-grandfather to Fionn and brother of Mary (Deane) and the late Sheila (Crean), brother-in-law Dan and the late Neilo, Tom, Paddy and Peggy.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Eileen and Mary, sons-in-law Martin, Michael, Con and Martin, grandchildren, great-grandson, sister, brother-in-law, nieces, neighbours and a large circle of relatives and friends.
To comply with Government and HSE guidelines, Jim's Funeral will take place privately.
Jim's Funeral Cortege will be leaving Pat and Mary's home on Saturday morning at 11am approx, stopping at Castlelack School, onto Finnis Cross, Kearney's Cross, back to Castlelack, passing his home, over the Top Road to Ballinacurra, Brinny Cross and stopping at Valley Rovers Pitch, Brinny en route to St. Mary's Church, Innishannon for a private Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be livestreamed on http://www.corklivestream.com/funerals
