The death has occurred of
James (Jim) O'Meara
O’MEARA (Arduslough, Goleen): on January 13th 2025, peacefully in Bantry General Hospital. JAMES (Jim) beloved husband of Mary (nee Kingston), loving father of Ciarán, Aisling and Oisín, son of the late Bat and Nell, brother of the late Denny, uncle and godfather of the late Laura. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Ellen, Aoife, Samuel, Roman and Lily-Mae, son-in-law Matt, daughter-in-law Corinne, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Arundel & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Schull on Thursday, January 16th 2025, from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday, January 17th 2025, at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea and St. Patrick, Goleen. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
