James (Jim) O'Regan

Pearse Avenue, Mallow and formerly of Carrig, Killavullen.

 

Jim passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, 21st January, 2025 in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork after a long illness bravely borne.

 

Dearly beloved husband of Eleanor (née Murphy) and cherished father to Joe, James, Edward, Tom and the late Julie.

 

Predeceased by his father Jackie and mother Julia.

 

Sadly missed by his brother Pat and sister-in-law Rosarie.

 

Loved by his 7 grandchildren Jonathan, Karen, Jake, Julie, Thomas, Ava and Sam.

 

Deeply missed by his daughters-in-law, niece, nephew, along with extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

 

May Jim’s kind soul rest in peace.

 

 

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers and Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow.

 

Requiem Mass on Friday afternoon at 2:00pm, after which Jim will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Mallow.
