SHAKESPEARE (Glenageary, Co. Dublin and late of Stena Line, Dun Laoghaire) – April 16th 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully at home. James (Jim); dearly beloved husband of Lyla and devoted father to Stephen, Ian and Ciara, loving grandad Jim to Thomas, Beth, Samuel, Niamh, Teddy, Alice and Clodagh, and predeceased by his brother Neil. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law Martin, daughters-in-law Lyndsey and Julie, grandchildren, his sister Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his wonderful circle of friends.

Reposing at his home on Monday (April 20th) from 5pm to 7pm (all welcome). Removal on Tuesday (April 21st) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin (directly opposite the church) for 11.30am Cremation Service.
