James (Jim/ Shem) Masterson

MASTERSON, James (Jim/ Shem) (Swords, Co. Dublin and formerly of Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Former Sergeant, An Garda Síochána) - April 17th, 2026, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of adored Rosaleen, cherished father of Eugene, Barry, Sharon and Aoife, and doting grandfather of Caoimhe, Darragh, Cathal, Róisín, Eóin, Niamh, Donncha, Lorcan and Fergal. Sadly missed by sons-in-law Seán and Dermot, daughter-in-law Jacinta, brother Seán, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and former work colleagues. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret and brother Des.

Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords on Tuesday (April 21st) evening from 4.30 p.m. - 6.30 p.m. Removal on Wednesday (April 22nd) morning to St. Cronan's Church, Brackenstown arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to Glasnevin Cemetery.
