The death has occurred of
James (Jim) Shine
SHINE (Cork) On March 3rd 2025 peacefully in the presence of his loving family at home in Cathedral Road, Gurranabraher, JAMES (JIM) (formerly of Ford & Sons); dearly beloved husband of the late Mary (née Meehan) and loving father of the late Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Annette, Catherine and Deirdre, son Brendan, grandchildren Ruairí, Andrew, Kayley, William, Ciara and Aisling, great-grandson Kal, daughters-in-law Sheila and Catherine, son-in-law Ger, brother, sisters, friends, relatives and neighbours.
Visitation at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Tuesday, March 4th, from 6pm - 7pm with Prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, March 5th, at 12 noon in the Church of The Ascension, Gurranabraher which will be live-streamed on https://www.gurranabraherparish.ie/webcam/ Funeral afterwards to St. James' Cemetery, Chetwynd.
