James (Jim) Slattery

Slattery (Macroom Road, Bandon and Ballyduff, Co. Kerry) on April 10th 2025 at the Bon Secours Hospital, peacefully in the presence of his loving family. James (Jim) (Retired An Garda Síochána), beloved husband of Mary (nee O'Connor), cherished father to Fergus, Niamh (Fox), Sinead (O'Donnell), Padraig and Ann Marie (Callanan). Loving father-in-law to Ruth, Brendan, Rory, Niamh and Freddie, and adored grandfather to his 13 grandchildren.

Jim was a devoted brother to John, Brendan, Gerard, Eileen, Martina and the late Mike and Lily.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and all who knew him.

Jim will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon on Friday from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
