The death has occurred of
JAMES (JIM) WHELAN
WHELAN (Glasheen, Cork): On December 28th 2023, very peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, after a brief illness, at Cork University Hospital, JAMES (JIM). Beloved son of the late William and Catherine (née Curran) and loving brother of Eileen (Hyde) and Michael. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother-in-law David, Michael’s partner Catherine, niece Trina and her husband Darren, nephews Patrick and Marcus, grandnephews Dean, Craig and Ciarán, grandniece Sophie, great-grandnephew Jackson, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Friday (December 29th) from 4pm until 5pm.
Cremation Service on Saturday (December 30th) at 11am at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Cork University Hospital Charity
