James (Jimmy) Bowens

The death has taken place of James (Jimmy) Bowens, Sandyview Drive, Riverside, Galway and formerly of Mallow, Co. Cork. Peacefully at Caiseal Geal Nursing Home with his loving family at his bedside. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Eileen (nee Qualter, Tonegurrane), his parents James and Mary, his brothers Brendan and Charlie. Sadly missed by his devoted family Colette, Claire and Jimmy, sons-in-law Ernesto and Paul, daughter-in-law Zara, his adored grandchildren Stephanie, Oscar, Aoife, Amelie, Zoe, Orla, Jimmy Nua and Maggie, his brother Kevin (Cork), his sisters Irene Finn (Cork) and Maura Conroy (Dublin), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Holy Family Funeral Home (H91FH52) Mervue on Friday, 16th February, from 5pm with removal at 6.30pm to the adjoining Church. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 17th February, at 10.30am, with burial afterwards in Cregg Cemetery (H91EK7R). Mass will be live-streamed at www.churchtv.ie/mervue.
