James (Jimmy) CALVERT
Is with deep sadness we announce the death of James (Jimmy) Calvert, Sarsfield Court, Garryowen, Limerick and Ex Limerick Corporation and Presentation R.F.C.
On October 1st 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by parents Kathleen and Dick, sisters Phyllis, Rosie and Vera and brother Tommy.
Very deeply regretted by his loving daughter Jennifer, son David and their mother Margaret, granddaughters Alana and Matilda, special friend Mary, sister Mary, brothers Tony and Dermot, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and his sporting friends.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, October 3rd, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
Funeral will arrive Saturday, October 4th, at St. John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (ext.) Cemetery.

Jimmy’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of University Hospital Limerick, who looked after Jimmy throughout his illness.
