James (Jimmy) Cassidy

James (Jimmy) Cassidy of Seagreen Gate, Blacklion, Greystones, Co. Wicklow formerly Dublin.

January 19th 2026 peacefully after a brief illness in the exceptional care of all the staff in St. Anne’s Ward, Loughlinstown Hospital. Pre-deceased by his parents, sister and brothers.
Remembered with love by his family, beloved wife Bridget (née McCormack), adored sons David and Paul, cherished grandchildren Ciarán and Aoife, daughter-in-law Sandra, sisters Margaret, Theresa and Pauline, brother John, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Mark Kinsella Funeral Home, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow (A63 X456) on Friday evening January 23rd from 5pm until 6pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning January 24th at 10am in Holy Rosary Church, La Touche Road, Greystones (webcam link
