James (Jimmy) Collins, formerly of Nunan’s Garage, passed away peacefully at University Hospital Limerick on March 1st 2026, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Johanna, brothers Patrick and Michael, sisters Nora, Eileen, Joan and Maureen.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Johanna (Ciss), sons Leo, Aiden, and Seamus, daughter Siobhán, daughters-in-law Deirdre (Bourke) and Paula (Corbett), grandchildren Rebekah, Ben, Jordan, Jack, Darragh, and Eoghan, brother Batty, sisters Kathleen and Josie, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Sexton’s Funeral Home (P56PK73), Broadford on Tuesday 3rd March from 6pm - 8pm. Arriving at Our Lady of the Snows Church, Broadford (P56 W892) on Wednesday 4th March for 12:30pm Funeral Mass, which can be viewed through the Funeral Service link below. Burial in Springfield Cemetery.
