The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Collins, Toberaheena, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
Jimmy, (following a short illness) passed away peacefully at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin on Thursday evening in the presence of his loving family. Pre-deceased by his wife Bríd and his brothers Fr Johnny OMI & Jody. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Ger (Harrahill) and Brídín (McAleer), sons Eddie, Joe and Jim, sister Peggy (Burke), grandchildren Gearóid, Grá, Eve, Jack, Aisling, Niamh, Joseph, Aedín, Colm, Eimear and Ruairí, great-grandchild Alana, sons-in-law Gerard, Damien and Martin, sisters-in-law Greta (Hewitt) & Maura (Burke), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Wednesday evening from 4.30pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Thursday to St Mary’s Church, Irishtown. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.00 noon. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the St Mary’s Parish livestream service www.churchservices.tv/clonmel. Burial will take place afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to the Society of St Vincent de Paul Ireland.
