CURLEY James (Jimmy). Annagh, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully on the 21st of August 2022, in the tender care of the staff of The Claddagh Ward, U.H.G.

 

Pre-deceased by his beloved parents.

 

Jimmy will forever be in the hearts of his loving family. Cherished and much loved he will be sadly missed by his wife Mary, daughter Linda, son James and son-in-law Martin. Fondly remembered by his brothers Thomas & Joe , sisters Ann, Kathleen, Chrissy and Teresa, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many loyal and great friends.

The funeral will take place in line with current government guidelines and restrictions to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

 

 

Jimmy will repose at Mullins’s Funeral Home, Georges Street, Gort on Tuesday, August 23rd, from 6pm until 8pm. Jimmy’s Funeral cortege will arrive to St. Columba’s Church Kilbeacanty on Wednesday August 24th for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Jimmy will be laid to rest afterwards in Rakerin cemetery. Flowers are welcome or donations if desired can be made to Gort Cancer Support. House strictly private please at all times.

Jimmy’s family deeply appreciate your kindness, loyalty, love and support at this time. We wish to thank the fantastic staff of the Claddagh Ward U.H.G for the amazing care given and to Dr. Nuenz and her Medical Team for all they done for Jimmy during his illness. A final thanks to our wonderful neighbours, family and friends for all they have done to help us over these difficult days.
