James (Jimmy) Dilleen

Formerly of Shanballyweshaely, Gurteen, Ballinasloe.

On the 2nd of March 2025, Jimmy passed away peacefully in the Galway Hospice. Predeceased by his parents William and Theresa, brothers Richard, Sean and Frank. Beloved husband of Olive. Will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter Orlaith, son Conor, brother Joe, daughter-in-law Niamh, son-in-law Paul, grandson Ben, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Irwin's Funeral Home, Bóthar Irwin (H91 CK84), on Tuesday the 4th of March from 5pm. Private removal to his home at 7pm. Jimmy's Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday the 5th of March in The Church of the Holy Family, Mervue, at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery.
