James (Jimmy) Egan

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Egan, Knocknaveigh, New Inn, Cashel and formerly Egan’s Garage, Kilsheelan, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Jimmy passed away peacefully in the tender care of the Oak Ward, Waterford University Hospital on Thursday afternoon in the presence of his loving family. He is pre-deceased by his sister Gretta (Ryan), grandson Luke (Long) and nephew Tom (Ryan). He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Mary, daughters Joanne (Casey), Bríd (Stewart), Ann-Marie (Egan), Helen (Long) and Claire (Mac Sweeney), grandchildren Rachel, Andrew, Anna, Zarah, Ava, Zach, Ben, Emma, Torin and Éadha, sister Betty (Egan), sons-in-law Seamus, Cliff, Mark and Andrew and Ann-Marie's partner Tom, nephew Dermot, niece Mary, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Saturday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Sunday to St Mary’s Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.30pm. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the link to follow. Burial will take place afterwards in Gambonsfield Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to Waterford University Hospital Oak Ward.
