James (Jimmy) Hannon

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Hannon (Late of North Circular Road, Dublin 7), on the 16th July 2024, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the kind care of the staff of The Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary, his brothers Peter and Niall and his grand nephew Mark.

Beloved husband of Evelyn and dear brother of Joe (and wife Camilla) and Moira (and her husband Noel McDonagh) and brother in law of Rosaleen. He will be sadly missed by his family, nieces, nephews and the extended Hannon and Kennedy families, kind relatives, neighbours, many friends and St. Peter’s Parish Community.

May Jimmy’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at home on Thursday from 10am and Friday until 3.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10.30am in St. Peter’s Church, Phibsborough, Dublin 7, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
