James (Jimmy) Harte

Harte, James (Jimmy) - (Kilbarrack and late of St. Joesph's Terrace, Sligo Town) - Feb 20, 2025. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his loving wife Rita, son Jim, his devoted mother Elizabeth and father James, brother Johnny and sisters Mary and Ellen. He will be forever loved and sadly missed by his daughters Orla, Christine and Lorraine, son-in-law Riki, grandchildren Janina, Ricky, Shannon, Leah, Lizzie, Kyle, Megan and Rocky, nephew, nieces, extended family especially those in Sligo, his many friends, neighbours and his former work colleagues especially Alan Mahon.

May James Rest In Peace.

James' family would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to the staff of St. Francis Hospice, the Irish Cancer Society, Kelly (occupational health nurse) and all the staff of The Avenue Family Practice especially Dr Ian and Dr Ball.

Reposing at his home on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm.

House Private on Sunday - Immediate family only.

Funeral mass on Monday morning at 10am in the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Greendale Rd, Kilbarrack followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only donations to St. Francis Hospice or The Charity Alone.
