James (Jimmy) Looney

Looney, Jimmy (Annagloor, Millstreet, Co. Cork). On 13th August 2025, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of Millstreet Community Hospital. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary and his sisters Kathleen and Ciss.

Much loved uncle of Seamus, Liam and his wife Kathleen, John and his wife Breeda, Anne and her husband Paul, Marie and Genie. He will be sadly missed by his grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relations, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet on Thursday 14th August from 6.30pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet. Requiem mass at 11.30am on Friday 15th August followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery.
