The death has occurred of
James (Jimmy) Murphy
Jimmy passed away peacefully on January 12th, 2025 at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent care of the staff of Millstreet Community Hospital.
Beloved husband of Liz (nee Hickey), loving father of Peter, Anthony and Jason and grandfather of Lorna, Clodagh, Jade, Jack and Cathy. Brother of John, Michael and the late Mary Teresa and Frankie. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters in law Eleanor, Linda and Justina, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, wide circle of friends and the staff and residents of Millstreet Community Hospital.

Reposing in Tarrant's Funeral Home, West End, Millstreet on Wednesday, 15th January, from 5.30pm to 7.00pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church, Millstreet. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 16th January, at 9am. Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium. Funeral mass will be live-streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/millstreet
