James (Jimmy) O'Connell

James (Jimmy) O'Connell, (18 Main Street, Kenmare, Co Kerry and formerly of Castlekieran, Carnaross, Kells, Co Meath). On the 3rd of December 2021, James (Jimmy) passed away peacefully in the tender care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry and in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Mary C.C. (nee O'Sullivan). Loving father of Micheál, John Joe, Miriam and Céline, adoring grandfather of Ciara, Laura, Liam, Ciarán, Rory and Katie. Sadly missed and dearly loved by his sons, daughters, grandchildren, sister Maureen, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at O'Connor's Funeral Home Kenmare on Sunday evening (December 5th) from 5.00pm to 6.30pm for family and close friends. Removal on Monday morning (December 6th) from O'Connor's Funeral Home to Holy Cross Church, Kenmare for 11.00am Requiem Mass which will be live streamed on  www.kenmareparish.com MASS (live streaming) followed by burial in the Old Kenmare Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Palliative Care Unit University Hospital Kerry.
