James (Jimmy) O’Connor, ‘The Mills’, Firies, Killarney, Co. Kerry. Died peacefully in the loving care of Listowel Community Hospital and Palliative Care on 1st September 2025

 

Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Margaret. Sadly missed by daughters and sons, Kay, Aileen, Conn and Dermot, brother Owen, grandchildren Ellen, Susan, Cian, Gerard, Jim, Conrad and Aaron, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Antoinette, brothers-in-law Con O’Sullivan (Lisheenacanna, Ballyhar) and John O’Sullivan (Malahide, Dublin), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his residence (V93E7R7) on Wednesday 3rd September from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.

Removal on Thursday morning from his residence to St. Gertrude’s Church, Firies for Requiem Mass at 11.00AM, burial afterwards in Old Aghadoe cemetery, Killarney. Requiem Mass for James [Jimmy] will be livestreamed on the following link st-gertrudes-church - MCN
