James (Jimmy) Patrick Barry

23rd July 1945 to 22nd August 2025. Peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, at Tallaght University Hospital. Son of the late Mary Barry (née Byrne) and James Barry Senior. Predeceased by his brother Michael (Micky).

Jimmy will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken sisters, Teresa, Kathleen, Maria, Lorraine and Lynn , brother Kevin, nieces and nephews Kalen, Aaron, Naomi, Diana, Tracey, Jackie, Kevin, Michael, Lee, Stephen, Alex, Kelly, Sarah and Andrew, stepmother Valerie, sister-in-law Ann, brothers-in-law Christopher, Marc, Vince and Stephen, nephews-in-law Joey and Denis, grandnieces Shaznay, Reana Jade and Aria, grandnephews Conor, Cameron, Coryn, Josh, Adam, Leon and Fionn Míchéal, his grandnieces and grandnephews in the UK and all his UK cousins, his life-long friend and companion Richard, extended family, neighbours and his many close friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, (Eircode W91 CD0K) on Monday 25th August from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary Prayers at 6:30pm. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will take place on Tuesday 26th August at 2:30pm at The Temple, Newlands Cross Crematorium. Jimmy’s family have asked anyone attending to wear bright colours to reflect his wonderful and colourful personality.
