James (Jimmy) Rafter

James (Jimmy) Rafter, Bofield, Bonniconlon, Ballina, Co Mayo on 17th March 2026 peacefully at Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, his sister Bridie and his brothers Sean, Paddy, Mikey, Tommy, Anthony, Marty and Danny, niece Caroline and nephew Tommy, sisters-in-law Theresa, Anne and Una. Deeply mourned by his loving wife Mary, his sons James and Martin and his daughters Helen, Lorna and Susan. His sons-in-law Tommie Stenson and Finbar O'Neill and daughters-in-law Siobhan and Mary-Eva. Grandchildren - Darragh, Conor, Cillian, Emily, Oisìn, Shane, Seàn, Aoife, Erin, Fionn, Eoin and Lily. Brother - Vincy (London). Brother-in-law Johnny Walsh (Behymore) and sisters-in-law Bridie, Maura and Hannah. First cousin Aine Devenney (Breaffy), nephews & nieces, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Remains reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Bonniconlon F26YOE7 on Friday evening 20th March from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Remains arriving to the Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bonniconlon on Saturday 21st March at 12pm for requiem mass with burial afterwards in Bonniconlon Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
