The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Thompson on April 1st 2026 in the tender care of the staff of UHK, Tralee. Jimmy is predeceased by his parents Peg and Joseph, his brothers Joe and Lee, infant sisters Kathleen and Josephine and his aunts and uncles. He will be dearly missed by his loving family, brothers Tom, John and Bob, sisters Maureen, Margaret and Noreen, Auntie Mary (Moll), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Jimmy will repose at Leahy's Funeral Home Knocknagoshel Village (eircode: V92 DX66) this Friday evening April 3rd from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Funeral arriving at St Mary's Church Knocknagoshel on Saturday morning April 4th where the Liturgy of the Word for Jimmy will be celebrated at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery Knocknagoshel.
