MURPHY, James Joseph (Jim), 4th April,2026, Rathdown Crescent, Terenure, D6W, formerly of The Dragon Inn and The Speaker Connolly Pub, late of Thomas St., Drogheda. Peacefully after a short illness in the tender loving care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.
Beloved husband of the late Freda, loving and much-loved father of Siobhan, Shay, Patricia, Fiona and Kieran. Jim will be forever loved and dearly missed by his sons and daughters, sons-in-law Michael and Thomas, Shay’s partner Caroline, his adored grandchildren Gwyneth, Emma and Thomas, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and very close lifetime friends.
Jim is now reunited with his beloved wife Freda and grandson Daniel.
May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday evening, 7th April from 5pm - 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Mary’s Priory, Tallaght Village arriving for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.
