The death has occurred of
James (Lubo) Scally
James (Lubo) Scally - Lady Aberdeen Cottages, Harbour St , Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly 4th Field Artillery Regiment Mullingar and Jadotville veteran. - June 7th, 2023 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff at Roselodge Nursing Home, Killucan. Jimmy will be very sadly missed by his sisters, Jane (Kissane), Kathleen (Shulton) and Rosaleen (Nugent), his good friend Doreen Byrne, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and former army colleagues.
MAY JIMMY REST IN PEACE
Reposing at Gilsenan's Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 9.30 a.m. followed by removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King for 11 a.m. Funeral Mass. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie. Burial will take place afterwards in Ballyglass Cemetery.
